Recycle card paper into basket

This idea of recycling card paper into basket is all over the internet. A nice idea to help the earth a little bit.. 

Might make another one once I find a suitable card paper again.. the hardest job was to punch those holes around..
other than that, it is fun to do it.

I use the basket for my yarns ^_^

Habanero Pepper

* Not a knit/crochet-related post  ^_^

Fresh from the garden...
Bought the seeds then planted them, from 10 seeds finally only 2 survives until now. One plant was even close to dying when I repotted, it produces though now, but it can be seen the peppers are small in size.

About habanero pepper:
Dikatakan level kepedasannya mencapai 100.000 SHU (Scoville Heat Unite), kalau cabai rawit yang biasa dimakan itu levelnya 40.000 SHU saja, so terbayang pedesnya itu pedes panas deh. Jika memotong cabai ini harus segera cuci tangan dengan sabun kalau tidak nanti terasa panas cenut2 sampai malam.. sudah pernah mengalami sih ^_^  jadi sekarang sih malahan ga pegang sama sekali, pakai garpu buat nopang motongnya, tapi pernah lupa juga garpunya terpegang pas mencuci, alhasil kena panas juga...

Frame of crocheted flower basket

A project finished a long time ago..
The frame was some kind of appreciation as I joined the outing activities with the company I worked for. There is no way I will hang the frame so I think I will use it for another purpose.

Amigurumi Padma Elephant

Aren't they cute? The pattern is simple to follow and the most important is that it is.... fun to make.

And as I like them very much, I crocheted two other more and I think they are even cuter..

crochet amigurumi cookies

Crocheted these cookies during a quiet Saturday, as I had nothing to do and Chinese New Year is coming too, maybe someone is coming for a visit? Who knows...

Well, these cookies are fun to make, first plan just wanted to crocheted just 2 or 3, but ended up in eleven cookies..

I think maybe I should have crocheted them in dark chocolate yarn so they resembled Oreo.


The pattern is modification of a cookie pattern from Gourmet Crochet.

UPDATE (March 2011)
I really could not stop making them.. really, and also found chocolate yarn and started to crochet it into cookies. The result is: 2 jar of cookies

Crochet Rose Bouquet

I had this pink wool from old days, not a really good quality yarn but at that time I did not have much choice...
in the spare time I crocheted into rose... again..
and after sitting in the drawers for some time, I finally managed to get them together. This time I cheat.. to speed up I use fake leaves instead of crocheting them...


Next time I will crochet another kind of flowers beside rose....

Crocheted Teapot

I felt like I had to crochet the teapot pincushion for my teacups pincushion, or I felt they were like orphans...

So I crocheted this one...


So here is the teapot set. Not exactly one series but I don't mind ^_^
